Manchester Internships will be a significant addition to your daughter or son's CV or university application, promoting sought-after work-based social skills, cultivating important relationships with potential employers and opening their eyes to the vast range opportunities the world of work has to offer.

Organisations supporting Manchester Internships are aware of the responsibility to provide a challenging and rewarding experience - a huge part of which is to ensure the safety and well being of your young person whilst taking part.

Manchester Internships assures all parents and guardians that:

  • During the applications process, guidance regarding potentially suitable Internships, and how to apply for them, is provided by a fully trained Coach at the school or college.
  • During the Internship, a fully trained and CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked Mentor will be your daughter or son's main point of contact.
  • The Mentor and Coach are supported via the employer's Supermentor and the school or college's Supercoach.
  • If your daughter or son is under 18 and is selected for an Internship, all information must be checked and approved by a parent, guardian or carer in order for the Internship to proceed.
  • You will be given a full list of contacts, so that you can speak to an appropriate person at any time.
